Heirloom offers six scrapbook scanning services based on the number of dynamic pages, including Mini, Small, Medium, Large, Expanded, and Oversize scrapbooks. Dynamic pages include flaps, fold-outs, gates, and other pages that open to reveal additional content.

Dynamic pages include traditional pages as well as flaps, fold-outs, gatefolds, and pages that open to reveal additional photographs, journaling, or memorabilia. During your free inspection, Heirloom specialists determine the correct scrapbook size for your quote.
Scrapbook Scanning vs. Photo Album Scanning
Scrapbook Scanning preserves the entire scrapbook page as a high-quality 300 dpi PDF, including the arrangement of photographs, handwritten notes, decorations, textured embellishments, and keepsakes.
If your goal is to create individual 600 dpi JPG files from every photograph in an album, choose Heirloom's Photo Album Scanning service instead.

Heirloom assigns every scrapbook a unique tracking number before scanning. Each scrapbook is delivered as its own 300 dpi PDF with a corresponding file name that matches the tracking number on the original scrapbook, preserving every page in its original order.
How will I receive my digitized scrapbook?
Your 300 dpi PDF is delivered to your private Heirloom cloud, where you can immediately view, download, organize, and share it. You can also add an optional Heirloom Flash Drive to your order, and your original scrapbook can be safely returned.
Will my scrapbook pages be AI enhanced?
No. Heirloom's scrapbook scanning service is focused on creating a faithful digital preservation of every scrapbook page before it deteriorates further. We preserve the complete page—including photographs, handwritten notes, textured embellishments, and keepsakes—without altering its appearance. AI enhancements and editing are best performed later by the content owner, preserving an original digital master while allowing enhanced copies to be created whenever you choose.
