Ordering more than one? Place a separate order for each flash drive so each can ship to a different address.

Keep a portable copy of your digitized memories on a fast, dual-connector flash drive.

This 64-gigabyte Backup Flash Drive uses USB 3.0 and includes both USB-A and USB-C connectors. It has enough capacity to hold dozens of hours of video, thousands of photographs, or a combination of your digitized files.

When you order, Heirloom transfers the digital files from your current or most recent eligible digitizing order onto the drive before shipping it to you.

Important: Available only for a current digitizing order or the customer’s most recent digitizing order completed within the previous 90 days.

A 64GB Backup for Thousands of Memories

With 64GB of storage, this compact drive can hold thousands of digitized photographs and dozens of hours of home video. It can also store audio recordings, documents, and other files from an eligible Heirloom digitizing order.

The exact number of files it can hold depends on their formats, resolution, length, and file sizes. Heirloom will transfer as much of the eligible order as the drive’s available capacity permits.

Fast USB 3.0 With USB-A and USB-C

The Backup Flash Drive uses fast USB 3.0 technology to transfer large photo and video collections more quickly than older USB 2.0 drives.

Its dual-connector design includes:

  • USB-A for traditional desktop computers, laptops, televisions, and other compatible devices
  • USB-C for newer computers, tablets, smartphones, and other compatible devices

Simply rotate the drive to expose the connector your device uses. No separate adapter is needed for USB-A or USB-C.

We Load Your Digital Files Before Shipping

This is not an empty flash drive. Heirloom copies the digital files from your current digitizing order—or your most recent eligible digitizing order—onto the drive before it is shipped.

The Backup Flash Drive is available only when:

  • You currently have a digitizing order with Heirloom; or
  • Your most recent digitizing order was completed within the previous 90 days

Orders completed more than 90 days ago are not eligible. If you have placed multiple digitizing orders, the drive will contain files from your current or most recent eligible order.

Keep a Portable Copy Alongside Your Cloud Vault

Your Heirloom digital vault makes it easy to stream, download, and share memories online. A Backup Flash Drive provides an additional offline copy you can hold, store, and connect directly to compatible devices.

The drive is especially useful when you want to:

  • Keep an additional copy in a safe location
  • Watch videos without relying on an internet connection
  • Move files to another computer or storage device
  • Share a complete collection with another family member
  • Connect your memories to a compatible television, computer, tablet, or phone

For stronger protection, keep the flash drive in a secure location separate from your primary computer. No single device should be the only copy of irreplaceable memories.

What is an Heirloom Backup Flash Drive?

An Heirloom Backup Flash Drive is a 64GB USB 3.0 storage device with both USB-A and USB-C connectors. Before shipping it, Heirloom loads it with the digital files from your current or most recent eligible digitizing order. It provides a convenient, portable copy of your digitized memories.

How much can a 64GB flash drive hold?

A 64GB flash drive can hold dozens of hours of video, thousands of photographs, or a combination of video, photo, audio, and document files. Actual capacity varies because file sizes depend on factors such as video length, resolution, format, and image quality.

Which digitizing order will Heirloom copy to the drive?

Heirloom will copy files from your current digitizing order or your most recent digitizing order completed within the previous 90 days. If your most recent order was completed more than 90 days ago, it is no longer eligible for this product.

Can I watch videos directly from the USB-A or USB-C connector?

Usually, provided the computer, television, tablet, or phone supports external USB storage and the video file format. Some devices may require you to copy the files onto the device or use a compatible media player. Device compatibility varies by manufacturer and model.

Why order a Backup Flash Drive if my memories are already in the cloud?

Your private digital vault provides convenient online access, while the Backup Flash Drive gives you an additional offline copy. It can be stored separately, used without an internet connection, connected to compatible devices, or given to another family member. Using both provides more flexibility and protection than relying on a single storage location.
