Yes. Every Heirloom box already includes a prepaid shipping label—there’s no need to purchase a separate label. Simply pack your items and drop the box at any UPS Store. A prepaid label is only needed if you’re using your own box instead of a Heirloom box.

The fastest way is to use your own sturdy corrugated box and print a prepaid shipping label—so you can ship your media to Heirloom today. There’s no need to wait for a box or estimate quantities in advance. Once your items arrive, Heirloom handles inspection, pricing, and digitization.
Do I need to prepare my media before sending it?
No special preparation is required. You don’t need to label, clean, or organize your tapes, photos, or film. Heirloom’s experts carefully inspect and handle each item, including basic repairs when needed.
How is my media protected?
Your media is tracked from the moment it’s shipped and handled by trained specialists in a secure facility. Items are stored in climate-controlled conditions and digitized using professional equipment. Digital files are delivered securely to your private cloud account.
How soon should I expect updates after I begin?
You’ll receive an email confirmation immediately after placing your order. Tracking numbers and shipping updates are provided for every Heirloom box or prepaid label, so you can follow your shipment each step of the way. On the day your media arrives, you’ll receive a clear, itemized quote to review and approve.
Can I pause or change my order after starting?
Yes. Because Heirloom does not require prepaid estimates, you stay in control and can pause, adjust, or approve only part of your order after reviewing your itemized quote. If we don’t hear from you for more than 30 days, we’ll reach out and make arrangements to return your items, since we’re unable to hold media indefinitely.
