How do I get and use my prepaid shipping label?
After checkout, you’ll receive a prepaid UPS shipping label by email as a printable PDF (sometimes by the next business day). Print the label, attach it to the outside of any size cardboard box, and your shipment is ready.
What box should I use to ship my media?
You can use any sturdy corrugated cardboard box, including a reused shipping box. Remove old labels, pack items securely, and seal the box well. The UPS Store can provide packing assistance if needed.
Where do I drop off my labeled box?
Drop off your labeled box at any UPS Store location—many are open 7 days a week. No appointment or long wait is required. You’ll receive a receipt with your tracking number as proof of drop off.
Do I need more than one shipping label?
Each prepaid label covers UPS Ground shipping for one box up to 70 pounds. If you’re sending multiple boxes, you’ll need one shipping label per box.
When will Heirloom receive my labeled box?
You’ll receive email updates from UPS, and an itemized digitizing quote the same day your package arrives at Heirloom. Digitizing begins only after you approve and pay the quote.
What happens if I don’t approve the digitizing quote?
That’s okay—there’s no obligation to proceed. Just let us know and your items will be returned using the included return shipping. We recommend reviewing our digitizing prices before shipping so there are no surprises.
Will I get my original tapes, photos, or films back?
Yes. Unless you request otherwise, all original media is returned to you. This is included in the price of the Heirloom shipping label.

Your shipment is prepaid with no checkout required. Just hand your labeled box to a UPS Store agent. They'll scan it and immediately give you a shipping receipt.
Real Time Tracking
Never lose sight of your shipment with real-time tracking from the United Parcel Service (UPS). Heirloom knows exactly when a UPS agent scans the receipt of your box, and tracks your shipment directly to our facility. Use the number on your receipt to track your UPS shipment and know when it will arrive at Heirloom.
What's Next?
Upon receipt, Heirloom will send an itemized quote to digitize all media you packed in the box. Securely pay online and your memories will be permanently preserved to your digital vault within two weeks.
