Digitized film is delivered as MP4 digital video at standard definition, compatible with nearly all devices and platforms. Any magnetic audio tapes are delivered as MP3 digital audio files at 128 kbps. All files are easy to store, stream, and share on Heirloom.

Film and tapes naturally degrade over time due to age, heat, and handling. Converting to digital protects it from further loss and makes it easy to store securely, stream privately, and share without risk to the original reels.

Yes. All original reels are carefully returned to you after digitization. Your originals are treated as irreplaceable and handled with care throughout the process.
