I've been wanting for years to digitize all my mini cassettes and DVDs of our children growing up but was never sure which company to choose. I came across Heirloom recently and was drawn to their many 5 star reviews and that they are a small American business. From start to finish everything went smoothly. They responded to a few questions I had in a timely manner through email and also engaged with me on the phone. The primary cost is to transfer all the media you provide into a personal cloud account, but I also wanted everything transferred onto a couple USB flash drives for a small extra fee. These got mailed back to me along with all my old media. Great overall experience and I definitely recommend them for your digitizing needs.

Heirloom did a great job converting my 1950s and 60’s slides of my parents. They also converted reel to reel real audio of my parents speaking to their parents from Japan. Where well worth it weight in gold to have these memories accessible forever.

Amazingly simple and effective process! Having digital backups of things that I would be heartbroken to lose brings an incredible amount of peace of mind. Plus, getting to show my kids old videos without having to excavate antique technology is awesome.

The quality of the digital version of a vinyl album I was on in 9th grade was amazing. So happy to have that memory preserved. My son especially loves it.

Great experience! Found them online and felt they would do the best job. Fast! Sent the box on a Sunday and had an email a few days later saying my videos were ready. Love the Cloud option - always concerned about losing a flash drive. They tried to run a blank tape I sent by mistake 3 times just to make sure. Good communication and quality (as good as you can get with 30 year old videos). I am happy to pay a yearly cloud fee just to make sure I can access my items whenever I want. Thank you!!
