While we carefully capture the highest-quality audio possible, we can't reproduce music or sounds that have already been permanently lost due to severe groove damage or excessive wear.
How will I receive my digitized records?
Heirloom assigns every record a unique tracking number before digitizing it. Each recorded side is delivered as its own 128 kbps MP3 file in your private Heirloom cloud, with the file names corresponding to the tracking number on the original record. You can immediately stream, download, organize, and share your recordings, add an optional Heirloom Flash Drive to your order, and your original records can be safely returned.
Will my records stay organized?
Yes. Heirloom assigns every record a unique tracking number before digitization. Your MP3 files are delivered in correspondingly named digital folders, making it easy to match every recording to its original LP, 45 RPM, or 78 RPM record.
Will my vinyl recordings be AI enhanced?
No. Heirloom's vinyl to digital service is focused on creating the highest-quality digital capture of your original recordings before they deteriorate further. We faithfully preserve the audio contained in the record without using AI to recreate missing music or sounds. AI restoration and advanced audio editing are best performed later by the content owner, preserving an original digital master while allowing enhanced copies to be created using future software and your own preferences.
