Discover the unparalleled benefits of choosing Heirloom for all your photo slide scanning needs.
Scan Photos
By scanning your photos into digital files, you can easily access, share, and enjoy them. Memories are always at your fingertips with Heirloom. Whether it's a family vacation or a special occasion, your photo slides will bring joy for countless generations.
Convert Slides to Digital Photos
Heirloom professionals help you convert slides to digital photos. Our experts use advanced scanning technology to capture every detail, and produce high-quality digital JPG images at 22 megapixels. Enjoy the convenience of digital photos that are as vivid and beautiful as the originals, without even removing the slides from the carousel!
Digital Photo Album
Instead of creating digital clutter on vulnerable DVDs, Heirloom transfers your images directly to a digital photo album. This means your digital pictures are backed up on the cloud at multiple data centers, ensuring you never lose a file. You can also buy a USB flash drive as the next best alternative to managing your digitized photos.
All Sizes of Photo Slides
Heirloom provides photo slide scanning of all standard 2 x 2 inch framed transparencies, including 110, 126, 127, and 135 (35mm) slides. No need to remove from the carousel or the box. Rare glass slides and other positive transparencies are scanned as specialty slides.
Scanning Pictures
Heirloom removes any dust and individually captures each slide as a separate digital file. Our experts perfom a “1-to-1 capture” ensuring the scanned picture is flat, face-up, and not askew. Heirloom’s picture scanning service does not digitally edit your pictures, allowing you to select your favorite software to set your own preferences for luminance, hue, and saturation.
Slides by the Inch
Heirloom charges one unit to scan each 5-inch group of 100 photo slides. This makes our service more affordable than buying a scanner and doing it yourself. Our technicians bag and tag each group, while doing their best to maintain the order and groupings of your envelopes, bags, and banded slides.
Speciality Slides
Not all film transparencies fit into a 2 x 2 inch standard slide scanner. Heirloom can scan glass slides, viewmaster, mini110, and all kinds of reeled microfilm and microfiche. These rare exceptions are treated as Specialty Slides, each scanned in groups of up to 50 images.
Photo Organization
It’s much faster to organize your digitized images, than passing light through thousands of photo slides. Digital photo organization includes renaming, adding a description, and organizing pictures into different albums. Once organized, it’s easy to share individual images, or entire albums.
Best Way to Scan Old Photos
Heirloom technology is the best way to scan your pictures on photo slide transparencies. Our experts tag each grouping with a unique tracking number, and name each file according to this convention. The digital photos from each group are uploaded as one digital album to your online Heirloom account.
