How to Log In to iMemories

Go directly to the official iMemories login and enter the email address associated with your order.

If you cannot sign in:

  1. Confirm that you are using the email address from your iMemories order confirmation.
  2. Select the password-reset option on the login page.
  3. Check your spam or junk folder for the reset email.
  4. Open the link in a private or incognito browser window.
  5. Clear cookies and cached data for iMemories if the page continues to reload.
  6. Try the iMemories mobile app or a different browser.
  7. Avoid third-party websites offering account access or password assistance.

If your account opens but your videos or photographs do not appear, check the order-status area. An empty library may mean the order is still being processed rather than lost.

For help from iMemories, contact its customer-service team at 800-845-7986 or service@imemories.com. Its official contact page lists support hours as Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mountain Time.

BEFORE DIGITIZATION BEGINS

Know What You Are Approving

With Heirloom, you can send mixed, unsorted media without estimating quantities in advance. Heirloom identifies and inspects each item, then sends an itemized quote for your approval.

You may approve the complete order, adjust it or decline without an obligation to proceed.

Is the iMemories App Free?

The iMemories app is free to install, but the app and the company’s Cloud service are not the same thing.

According to the iMemories FAQ:

  • Every digitization order includes a 30-day iMemories Cloud trial.
  • Cloud provides unlimited streaming, sharing and storage.
  • Continued Cloud service costs $7.99 per month or $49.99 per year.
  • Completed digital masters can be downloaded for free.

In a published response to a BBB complaint, iMemories stated that customers are not automatically enrolled in a paid subscription when the trial expires. The company said the account becomes inactive unless the customer chooses continued Cloud service.

That distinction matters. A free app does not necessarily mean ongoing cloud streaming and storage are free. Download your files while access is active rather than treating an online account as your only copy.

Download Your Memories Before You Need Them

Logging in is convenient. Downloading creates independence.

A cloud account can change, become inactive or require a different plan. A downloaded MP4 or JPG can be stored on your computer, an external drive and another secure cloud service.

After accessing your iMemories account:

  1. Locate each completed album or video.
  2. Download the digital masters.
  3. Open several files to confirm they play correctly.
  4. Compare the files with the expected tapes or photographs.
  5. Save one copy on your computer.
  6. Keep another copy on an external drive or separate cloud account.

Do not delete the originals after the first successful download. Keep the physical media until every digital file has been reviewed and backed up.

If the download option is missing or a link is not working, see our guide to iMemories download links, access and file ownership.

What Do Customers Report About iMemories Access?

The Better Business Bureau’s iMemories complaint page reported 28 complaints during the preceding three years as of September 21, 2026. Ten had been closed during the preceding 12 months.

One 2026 complaint described repeated login problems, having to clear browser cookies and cache, and seeing an account with no albums while an order was still in production. iMemories responded that it contacted the customer and helped clarify the order’s status.

Other complaints have discussed:

  • Trouble locating completed memories
  • Questions about Cloud access
  • Confusion about subscription terms
  • Difficulty finding order-status information
  • Delayed communication
  • Missing or incomplete downloads

These are individual customer allegations, not findings by Heirloom or proof that every customer will have the same experience. BBB also publishes company responses and whether complainants report that a resolution was reached.

The lesson is practical: download your files, keep backups and confirm how long account access will remain available before submitting an order.

Choose a Service That Makes Access Simple

A successful conversion is not complete when a company creates the file. It is complete when you can find, watch, download and protect it.

Before selecting a digitization service, ask:

  • How soon can I download my files?
  • What happens when the introductory cloud period ends?
  • Can family members view shared memories without subscribing?
  • Will my files use common formats such as MP4 and JPG?
  • Can I speak with a person if an album appears empty?
  • Do I retain access if I cancel paid storage?

iMemories offers free downloads, an app and an optional Cloud subscription. Families who value those features may find the service convenient.

Heirloom provides downloadable files through a private vault, a 90-day introductory cloud plan and continuing free Basic storage. Shared recipients can access memories without paying, and the customer remains the owner of the files.

Google 5 out of 5 starsVerified Google review

I rushed to leave a review!

My tapes were MOLDY. Like, REALLY bad. I honestly didn't think they could be salvaged, but I sent them to Heirloom just to see. They gave me a call once the tapes arrived to let me know that it would be difficult, but they were going to do everything they could. And folks, they DID!! My videos are here! I'm literally crying! I never thought I would see this footage again.
